The T. Adams Liner
This is a short glimpse into the process of building a liner tattoo machine. I left out some of the more tedious operations like the fabrication of binders and A-bars and final assembly. I designed this machine to run with a long stroke but very quickly. Most fast liners have a long stroke and most long stroke liners are slow. I wanted the best of both worlds in my own tattooing. The one inch, eight wrap coils are stubby with a very simple tape covering, the frame is mild steel with a brass exterior coating for rust resistance. This is a no frills, industrial machine, all of its worth is in how it runs, not how it looks. I sell these to licensed tattooers "made to order".
